Our Story
Why Wild Wood?
A friend’s DIY sauna lit the spark in 2017.
By 2023, a 1992 Pegasus horsebox became our first mobile sauna, based in Somerset. Lined with Western Red and Lebanese Cedar. HUUM wood stove. 80 kg of stones. Skylight to trees and stars.
In summer 2025, we renovated a classic 1970s Rice box trailer into a high-end luxury sauna. Two beautiful saunas, one simple mission: warmth, stillness, connection, delivered to you.

Practical Notes
- Typical flow: 3 rounds — Heat → Cold → Rest → Repeat. Hydrate well.
- We set you up. You enjoy. We return on time and leave no trace.
HOW TO
Recommended is to spend up to 20 minutes in the sauna, listen to your body and go outside for a gradual cooling or experience contrast cooling with an outdoor shower or plunge pool.
WELLNESS
The mobile sauna features a sky light to see the stars and trees above, a rustic barn style sliding door and the stove burns really well – With 80kg of rocks for your ideal steam!
HEALTH BENEFITS
Shown to increase metabolism, reduce stress and anxiety. Studies show that regular sauna sessions of 15-20 min at around 60-80 degrees Celsius lower the risk of heart disease.
Heating the body from the outside increases our core temperature like that of a cardiovascular workout.
